Snape: Good or Evil? A very common topic. I am of the opinion that Snape is good. Two reaons: One, I trust Dumbledore and DUmbledore trusted Snape. Two, JKR has made it far too easy to hate Snape. He is extremely unfair to the protagonists, malicious towards Harry and killer of Dumbledore...every one should WANT to hate him...and ironically that's why I think he's good.

It is funny though, Alan Rickman (right?) who plays him in the movies, knows, from JKR herself, Snape's life. Yes. there are TWO people in the world who know the truth.
