Interesting how you posted this on my birthday, since I was the on debating Dumbledore's death with you...
1. He might. Definitely possible, but he probably was just using some sort of "translator charm". Don't know, could be.

4. I think Hagrid is definitely one of those that will die. I think Snape got the reprieve, and that Wormtail will die (sacrifice himself to save Harry, then Harry kills Voldemort, thereby making him finally glad that he saved wormtails life, as Dumbledore predicted).

6. For all we know, he MIGHT be the chosen one. Remeber, JK is cryptic. He more than likely will have a big role in the end.
Another thought: JAMES MIGHT BE ALIVE!!!
Remember how Rowling has been avoiding the description of switching spells? Could it be switching bodies? Do you think that James switched bodies with someone as an extra precaution against the Voldemort threat? Possibly.
But who did he switch bodies with? Lupin of course. Read every part of POA that has Lupin in it. Notice anything?
